Editorial standards
How Midlife Atlas develops, reviews, sources and maintains editorial content.
Last reviewed September 11, 2026
We aim to make complex midlife health information understandable without stripping away important context. Claims should be proportionate to the evidence, uncertainty should be visible, and practical guidance should distinguish education from individualized medical care.
Health claims should be supported by credible sources appropriate to the topic. Where a page has a source list or medical review record, those details are presented with the content so readers can see how it was supported.
Commercial relationships should not determine editorial conclusions. Content may be updated when evidence, guidance, product information or our own standards change. Material errors are handled under our Corrections Policy.
