Reviews begin with the problem a reader is trying to solve. We avoid treating a large catalogue or a high price as evidence that a product is useful.
Our core framework considers real-world use, materials and build, comfort and practicality, value, and meaningful limitations. Specific reviews may add criteria that matter for the product category.
We should only describe a product as tested when the review record supports that claim. Buying guides may also use structured research and comparison, and the methodology should make that distinction clear.
